Volunteers give their time freely; therefore, your visit is very affordable, and your fee will cover the expenses of your visit, and go towards the upkeep of this magnificent collection.
Contacting us to enquire about hiring the museum as an event space is fast and easy. Simply complete our enquiry form, including as many details about your upcoming event as you can; a member of our team will then contact you to discuss your requirements and answer any questions you may have. All bookings must follow and adhere to the terms and conditions of hire, which can be downloaded below.
Organise a day out with a difference for your society or club – take a trip back in time to see and hear one of the premier collections of mechanical organs in the country. As well as enjoying the music, your guided tour will explain how our historic instruments spent their working lives on the fairground, and you’ll gain an understanding of how a mechanical organ produces music.
Duration: 2-3 hours.
Price includes refreshments: tea/coffee & cake.
£12 per head, with a minimum of 20 attendees.
NB. The Museum is willing to accept groups of under 20 persons, but must charge a standard rate of £240 for this service.
Full-day and half-day hire of the Museum is competitively priced and includes use of the instruments and facilities. These events are fully staffed by our team and can include an informative tour of the collection, together with the supply of refreshments.
Full-Day (6 hours): £600
Half-Day (3 hours): £320
Informative tour and supply of refreshments can be added to bookings – please enquire about pricing at time of enquiry.
NB. A 15% discount can be applied to the displayed rates for registered charities and not-for-profit organisations (registration details required).
Unable to attend our regular open days but wish to visit this iconic collection? By arranging a pre-planned visit you can experience the Museum collection first-hand, with a guided experience by one of our volunteers. Unfortunately we’re unable to offer refreshments during these bookings, but you may bring along your own.
Pre-Planned Visit (up to 5 attendees): £60 per hour
